In November and December of 2009, Aberdeen surveyed 64 wholesale distribution enterprises as part of the annual Aberdeen Business Review study. During that same time frame an additional 230 companies were surveyed for a benchmark report (Supply Chain Visibility Excellence: Reduce Pipeline inventory and Landed Cost) exploring the pressures enterprises are facing when it comes to visibility within and across their supply chains. From that group of 230 companies, this Sector Insight focuses on 52 respondents who identified themselves as distributors.
